To the BNS judges – this is in 2 parts. Here is my park build and my sims entry is at the foot of this post.
The challenge – Build a memorial garden for Mr Lee’s dearly departed wife Daisy. She loved flowers and water more than anything, except Mr Lee of course!
Here is my Garden
The lot is called Daisy Lee Memorial Garden
My theme is D is for Daisy – as shown by the water feature and flower beds

The path leads all the way around the park so you can take in the entire water feature and memorial garden
The water feature and flower beds in the shape of a D. Mr Lee admires the flowers and listens to the trickle of water coming from the fountain.
The birds love the seed from the bird feeder and they often stop for a dip in the bird bath.

The smile on Mr Lee’s face says that he is very happy with the park and he knows Daisy would love it too. If only she could see it.

Daisy & Chen Lee
Chen spends many days at the park, remembering his dearly departed wife and admiring the gardens built in her honour.
They were childhood sweethearts born in China and they moved to Newcrest shortly after being married. Sadly, Daisy was never able to have children so she devoted all her time to her darling husband Chen, and her flower gardens. They kept her very happy until the ill fated day of her departing this world.
Chen still feels her presence all around him and she regularly comes to visit him, most of the time at night, so he spends many nights in the garden.
“See what I had built for you my love?” he asks her when she comes to visit.
“I absolutely love it” Daisy tells him waving her hands excitedly.
Chen still feels so much love and tenderness from his wife. He is so lost when she’s not around.
“I miss you so much my love” he tells her sadly
“I know sweetheart. But I’m here now” she says tenderly.
(Just for fun)
“It’s ok” Chen whispers to Daisy “nobody is around to see us”. He giggles like a little boy on a first date as they exit the bush together, straightening up their clothes as they do.
